Shop WeWoreWhat Holiday ACTIVE by Danielle Bernstein launching 12/9/20

The second installment of Danielle Bernstein’s activewear collection for Shop WeWoreWhat is almost here. She was teasing new styles for months and I’m so excited to finally have all info on this new collection. New styles, new color-ways, unfiltered reviews of the last collection, where a portion of the proceeds are going, and Danielle FINALLY spilled the deets on the sizing. This is everything you need to know to plan you buy. 🤗

p.s. DM me if you have any questions, I’m happy to help! @TheAthleisurelyLife

🔥 SIZING PRO-TIP + UNFILTERED REVIEWS 😳

In her last collection she had quite a few dark prints, printed on white fabric and you could noticeably see white fading when you moved and stretched in them. I personally bought the cowhide leggings from the last collection and they were sooo small and stiff I had to return them. I had friends and some of you buy the prints and say the same.

Active was a completely new category for Shop WeWoreWhat and there is always a learning curve for new brands. ShopWWW is definitely learning from you guys and the feedback you give. I noticed for this collection all of the prints are lighter in color so that should help, along with sizing up.

Thankfully Danielle addressed the sizing with this statement. “…this collection is TRUE TO SIZE. BUT - for all printed bottoms size up ONE size, the prints are cut on a different grain so you don’t lose the print when they stretch (only in printed bottoms, the tops and solids are all normal)”

As always don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, I’m not affiliated with Shop WeWoreWhat, but I do know leggings and want you guys to be happy with what you get! DM me your Q.

Here’s what to do:

- Size one full size up, only for prints

(I am usually between a S and a M, so I would order a L for any of the prints, and a M for the solid colors.)

STYLES + COLORWAYS

  1. the Bandeau bra top + Splice Leggings

I love the way this bandeau top fits me. Not a lot of support. The splice leggings have a flattering v-cut waist band that I’m obsessed with. Comes in 6 colors: shiny black, toile, pale navy, tan, polka dot floral sea green & leopard.

2. the V-NECK BRA TOP + SEAMLESS LEGGINGs

This is the set that I have and LOVE from the last collection. The leggings are so comfortable. The bra is not super supportive, but very comfortable. The seamless sets come in 5 colors: lilac, pearl blue, off-white, black & hay.

  1. the corset top + corset leggings (contrast stitchEd)

  2. The mesh bra top + biker shorts

  3. Bodysuits: Corset, cutout + rib

there are a few more pieces + accessories for this collection, but we are focusing on the main sets

A portion of the proceeds from this collection will be going to R.O.A.R. - Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants. It’s been predicted that two thirds of all restaurants won’t be able to make it through the pandemic. This is SO many jobs lost. Restaurants are the heart and soul of so many cities. This post will make your heart break. To donate directly or read more about R.O.A.R. click HERE.

So, what will I be buying?

I’m in love with the corset top + leggings combo in white, something I haven’t seen in active yet. I’m curious to see the fit of the top and if the leggings are see through. Definitely the biker short set in toile. Very similar vibe to the silhouettes set from the last collection but I’m in love with the toile. So new for an active print. The seamless set from the last collection has been my go-to so I know I’ll love a second set but haven’t decided the color yet. The colors for this holiday collection feel very spring. I would love to go for a lavender color but the lilac they have is too pink for me. I think I’ll love the yellow for a pop of color in the spring so I’m leaning towards that. I would also go for the cut-out body suit in black if I didn’t just get an identical one from another brand that fits amazing.
